Meloty AI User Data Deletion Instructions
These instructions aim to clarify how you (the user) can request the deletion of personal data generated or associated with your use of Meloty AI (hereinafter referred to as "the Platform") services, so as to protect your privacy rights. The Platform strictly complies with Facebook's platform policies and relevant laws and regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and commits to promptly and completely implement data processing operations upon receiving your legitimate data deletion request.
I. Scope of Data Deletion
After you initiate a data deletion request, the Platform will delete all personal data and related business data associated with your Facebook account, including but not limited to the following:

Personal Identification Information: Basic information obtained through Facebook authorization, such as your nickname, profile picture, and App-Scoped ID;

Usage Behavior Data: Your login records on the Platform, AI music generation history (including creation keywords, style preferences, duration requirements you input), save and share records of generated music, and in-platform operation logs;

Business-Related Data: Music files generated based on your needs (if you have saved them locally, the deletion by the Platform will not affect your local files), relevant records of music copyright ownership, and customer service consultation history and feedback content;

Other Associated Data: Device information, browser information, cookies, and local storage data associated with your Facebook account binding (only platform-side data will be deleted; you need to clear browser-side data by yourself).
II. Ways to Initiate a Data Deletion Request
You can initiate a data deletion request through the following two methods, which have the same effect. You can choose according to your actual situation:
Method 1: Initiate Directly Through the Facebook Platform

Log in to your Facebook account and go to the "Settings & Privacy" page;

Select the "Apps and Websites" option, and find Meloty AI in the "Logged in with Facebook" list;

Click "Remove", then find the Platform in the "Removed" list and click "Request Data Deletion" to complete the application.
After initiating the request through this method, the Platform will receive the request notification pushed by Facebook within 24 hours (including your App-Scoped ID for identity verification) and immediately start the data deletion process.
Method 2: Initiate Through the Platform's Official Channels

Visit the official website of Meloty (https://www,meloty.ai) and log in to the account bound with Facebook;

Enter the "Personal Center" and select "Privacy Settings";

Click "Apply for Data Deletion", and the system will prompt you to confirm the information of the associated Facebook account;

After submitting the confirmation, the Platform will send a verification email to your Facebook-associated email address. Click the verification link in the email to complete the request submission.
If you encounter any problems during the operation, you can contact us via the customer service email (feedback@meloty.ai). Our customer service team will assist you in handling the issue within 12 hours.
III. Data Deletion Process and Time Limit

Request Confirmation Stage (within 1 working day): After receiving the request, the Platform will send a "Request Confirmation Email" to you via your Facebook-associated email address. The email contains your exclusive data deletion request confirmation code (composed of 8 letters + numbers) and the request acceptance status;

Data Deletion Stage (within 3 working days): After confirming that the request is legal and valid, the Platform will completely delete the target data through technical means (not just "marked for deletion", ensuring that the data cannot be recovered); for file data such as generated music works, a dual operation of "physical deletion + backup cleaning" will be implemented;

Result Feedback Stage (within 12 hours after deletion is completed): After the data deletion is completed, the Platform will send a "Deletion Completion Notification" to your associated email address, informing you that all data has been deleted, and attaching a brief description of the deletion log (including the type of deleted data and completion time).
If your request involves a large amount of data (such as more than 100 AI-generated music works), the processing time limit may be extended to 5 working days. We will clearly inform you of the reason for the extension and the expected completion time in the confirmation email.
IV. Ways to Query the Status of Deletion Request
To facilitate you to keep track of the request progress in real time, the Platform provides two query channels. You can query with the request confirmation code (for users who initiate requests through the Facebook platform, the confirmation code will be synchronized to your Facebook-associated email address by the Platform):

Customer Service Query: Send an email to the customer service email (feedback@meloty.ai) with the subject "Data Deletion Status Query + Confirmation Code". The customer service will reply with the query result within 6 hours.
V. Explanation of Special Cases

Circumstances of Refusing Deletion: If your request falls into any of the following situations, the Platform may temporarily refuse to perform the deletion operation and explain the legal reasons in the confirmation email: ① The data involves unresolved transaction disputes (such as the AI music customization service you purchased has not been completed); ② The data has been legally retrieved by judicial authorities or preserved as evidence; ③ The data needs to be temporarily retained to comply with mandatory provisions of laws and regulations. After the above circumstances are eliminated, we will immediately perform the deletion operation;

Impact After Deletion: After the data deletion is completed, your permission to log in to the Platform via your Facebook account will be automatically revoked. Historical generated music works (that have not been saved by yourself) cannot be retrieved. The generated order records (including payment information) will only retain desensitized information of "order number + transaction amount" (for tax declaration purposes);

Handling of Duplicate Requests: If you initiate multiple deletion requests for the same Facebook account within 30 days, the Platform will take the first request as the standard, and subsequent requests will be automatically associated with the first processing record to avoid duplicate operations.
